Welcome to Helen Whittaker Life Coaching and Turn That Leaf Joggers
I have been working as a life coach since 2010 and have recently formed Turn That Leaf Joggers as a local running group in Cambridgeshire.
I really enjoying helping people to make positive changes in their lives which both the life coaching and jogging group allows me to do.
In my role as a life coach I assist and support change through helping you to discover what drives you, what's important to you and what direction you want your life to move in. I can assist in goal setting and use a 'small steps' approach to achievement. If you're not sure of the end goal but feel 'stuck in a rut', I can help you discover what's important and what it is you want to achieve. Many people employ a life coach at certain times in their life when they feel at a crossroads or stuck in a rut or when they are sick of going round in circles with the same issues. Life coaching can help you break out of those negative cycles and move forward.
The jogging club has evolved from a love of jogging I never thought possible. 10 years ago, I was one of those people who thought they 'couldn't run'. I'd tried it a few times, but each time lasted a few minutes before returning home red faced, puffing and blowing and would collapse on the floor in a heap for 20 minutes recovering. I just resigned myself to the fact that I just couldn't do it and would never be able to. Then I went on a beginners jogging course while living in Ware, Hertfordshire and actually 'learned' how to do it properly. For me running is the easiest way to exercise there is. As long as you have your trainers (& a sports bra for us ladies) you can do it anywhere, at any time, in any weather and for as long as you like. A quick trot round the block if you're short on time is amazing for clearing your head, as well as being a great way to keep fit and healthy. And if I can do it - anyone can!
